Are Ole Henriksen products worth your money?

Ole Henriksen is a popular skincare brand with a philosophy of positivity and effervescence. The brand is most well known for it's Banana Bright Eye Crème.

This past month, I had the opportunity to test out 4 products made by Ole Henriksen, and I'm here today to share my experience with you.

*Please note that I did not buy full sizes of these products; I got smaller sizes in a set sold at Sephora for $38.

1. Banana Bright Eye Crème

This product has had a lot of hype over the past few years, and I was intrigued by all the opinions circulating across the internet. Personally, I really enjoyed using this product. Not only does it smell amazing, but it actually does make a noticeable difference immediately after use. It is clear that it is a very high-quality product. A full-size container of this Crème costs $39, for only 0.5oz, though, so it's up to you to decide whether it's worth your money.

I would recommend this product, especially as a gift for any skincare-obsessed person in your life.

2. Glow2 OH Dark Spot Toner

This product is supposedly a "miracle worker" for brightening your skin and reducing the appearance of dark spots, fine lines, and uneven skin texture. At $29 for 6.5oz, I'm not sure if this product is worth the money. I didn't notice a difference in my skin, though I wouldn't discourage you from trying this if you think it would be right for you. A lot of people have had a huge amount of success with this product.

The thing that worried me about using this product is the fact that it increases your skin's sensitivity to the sun, which in the long term, is probably not great. The package says to limit your exposure to the sun for a week after use.

3. Banana Bright Face Primer

This is another popular product from Olehenriksen, and I don't think it is over-hyped. I really enjoy using this product. When I first heard of it, I thought 'it couldn't be that great! It's just a primer' - but I was wrong. It leaves your skin looking glowy, youthful, and bright, and can be worn alone, or under makeup. It also smells really nice, which I love in a product. This would be a great gift for anyone interested in skincare/makeup.

4. PHAT Glow Facial, with PHA's and Nordic Birch Sap

I hadn't heard of this product until a few months ago, but I have to say that it felt pretty luxurious when I used it, and left my skin feeling clean and fresh, while also brightening its appearance. I would definitely recommend it. When they say your skin will glow after using this, they are not kidding. The ingredient list for this product is also good, and reflects the quality of the product. That being said, a 1.7oz container of this stuff costs $50.
