Now I know that we're all in quarantine, but that doesn't mean we can't be fashionable. I've compiled a list of the top fashion trends for this summer, in a convenient lookbook. Retro is coming back into style (which personally, I love), and I think a lot of these trends are very wearable.
Matching sets are becoming increasingly popular for their comfort and wearability. They make getting ready a snap, and are always a good option. Matching sets can have pants, shorts, or skirts, paired with t-shirts, tube tops, halter tops, bandeaus, and so much more!
Another great thing about them is the fact that they can be as comfortable as you need them to be. If you want to be a bit more dressed up, chose an elegant form-fitting one, with a skirt. If you want to be comfortable, try pairing a loose cropped shirt with comfy shorts.
This trend is super cool because there are really no limits to what you can wear. Whether it be a romper, sweatpants, a hoodie, or a t-shirt, you know your look will be on-point. What's even more fun is the fact that you can DIY this! Click here to find out how.
I think this trend is a little bit more unusual, but still fun and fresh. There are SO many possibilities, and you really never know what you're going to find. There is also the option for DIY here if you can sew; it doesn't have to be a complicated dress - even something like a headband would be cute!
Pink and Orange
Pink and orange are coming back into style! Color combinations are really fun because they can be as bright or as muted as you want them to be! This one, in particular, is very summery and warm.
Whether you pair them with a sleek ponytail, hoops, and heels, or with sweatpants, bandeaus are a super-easy way to look good in the summertime. They also don't have to be super *revealing*; you could pair them with high waisted denim shorts, or even sweatpants, and still, look super good.
6. Denim Jumpsuits
Personally, I had never heard of a denim jumpsuit before this year, but I think they look good! They are very versatile; they could be dressy (with sleek hair and shoes) or casual (with wavy hair and sneakers).
7. Butter Yellow
Personally, when I think of summer, I think of yellow; sunshine, lemonade, sunflowers. Butter yellow is a very soft, elegant shade, that looks very good in warm summer light, and also looks good on a lot of skin tones.
8. Baguette bags
This may be my favorite trend of the summer; baguette bags. I think they are so versatile and cute, while they are also super functional. They go with pretty much everything, and there are some very affordable ones out there.
I hope you found some inspiration for your summer outfits, even though we might not get to actually wear them outside :-). As always, don't forget to like, subscribe and share with your friends, family, or on social media. Have an amazing day!
